Sundays at 9am

We gather every Sunday at 9am. On the first and third Sundays of the month, we share breakfast together.

Where

We meet in the fellowship hall of Skyland Church, 1850 Skyland Terrace NE, Atlanta, GA 30319. Once you're in the parking lot, follow the signs for Open Table Community.

About breakfast

• First Sundays: potluck. Each has a theme, announced in our weekly newsletter. Visitors are never expected to bring anything.

• Third Sundays: bagels and breakfast, provided by the church. Just come hungry.

• Other Sundays: No meal, but coffee and tea are available, and many of us head to lunch together afterward.

What happens

• Conversation over food (on breakfast Sundays)

• Singing: contemporary worship

• Bible and conversation: we read a passage together and talk about it. Questions are welcome.

• Communion: every table is a communion table. Whatever your background or beliefs, you're invited.

• Sending: we close with a shared prayer to go be the church this week.

Good to know

• How long: about two hours.

• What to wear: whatever you're comfortable in.

• Kids: We have a nursery for babies and toddlers; Kids and youth sing praise with everyone, but then split into kids (K-5th grade) and youth (6-12th grades) time.

• Afterward: many of us keep eating together at a nearby restaurant or at someone's home.
